Blog entry #3: Beginning of the Build… Temporary fencing, floor prep, excavation, waste, slab pour and inspections! There’s a lot happening at the beginning of the build, and from now onwards it will all start to develop faster than I can imagine. It felt like just last week I was choosing my colours, and this week the foundations went down! Now it’s time to start picturing my soft landscaping and get the fence painting booked in. It’s little things like this that are easy to forget, but thankfully all clients building with Orange Homes (including myself) have their own Project Manager who are there to make sure everything happens on time, and help guide us clients who are new to building and not sure what to expect.
